Dear Parent/Carer

I am delighted to be able to write my first letter as the new Headteacher of Lesmahagow High School. The staff and pupils have made me feel very welcome and I feel privileged to be joining your school community.

Since my appointment, I had the opportunity to visit the school on a few occasions and met with Mrs Ross, pupils and staff. I would like to thank Mrs Ross for her support in ensuring my transition to Headteacher was as smooth as possible.

This term, one of my main priorities will be to get to know pupils, staff, parents and members of the wider school community. Building positive relationships will ensure we are all able to work together to meet the needs of our pupils and support them to achieve their full potential.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries, concerns or there is anything I can do to help and support you with your child’s learning and school life.
