All pupils going on the London trip next year should have made a second payment of £60 last week.  An email was sent to parents confirming their Parentpay details to do so.  Those who were not registered received a letter instead. Anyone who has not made this payment must do so ASAP.  If there are any issues making payments please see Mrs Rae.

P          Christmas Fair

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Christmas Fair a great success!   Thank you for making gifts for us to sell on the stalls, donating raffle and tombola prizes, baking delicious cakes and biscuits, helping with the organisation of the event and on the day, providing musical entertainment, encouraging friends and family members to take a stall and for coming along on the day to support the event. Special thanks to the Fairtrade group for donating the tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate for the event, the Parent Council for serving the teas and coffees, the Youth Achievement Award and Leadership classes for all their help and all pupils and staff who gave so much of their time and energy to ensure the event was a great success. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the talents of our pupils and for friends and family to visit us.  We have raised an incredible £3,287.07 for school funds plus £44.83 for St. Andrew’s Hospice.  Well done!

P          EMA – S5/6

EMA application forms can be collected from Miss Lee or downloaded from the South Lanarkshire Council website. On the Council website, click on ‘Education and Learning’, then ‘Secondary School Information’, then ‘Education Maintenance Allowance’.  If you need any help with this, please see Miss Lee.

It is your responsibility to complete and send the application form.

When you receive an award letter with your EMA number on it, bring this to Miss Lee who will then issue a copy of the Learning Agreement to be signed by your teachers and Parent/Guardian.  You should then return the completed Learning Agreement to Miss Lee and the school office will then process your EMA.

Only when you have completed all of the above will the payment process begin.  Please see Miss Lee if you have any questions about EMA.
